Guidelines:
Funding is given to “innovative and collaborative projects that enhance the teaching and learning with the goal of improving student outcomes.”
Proposals must include a detailed description of the project, including which problem you’re addressing and how you’ll measure and track success.
To apply for the grant, you’ll need a clearly defined project that improves, advances and enriches student learning.
Provide estimate of the amount needed to implement in your class. Provide any other source of funding used to support this project.
The organizations of Delta Kappa Gamma with Beta Kappa chapter and Retired Teachers of Lincoln County will have a team of educators to make the decision of how grants will be awarded. Both organizations will contribute $500 each to the grant application process with a total of $1,000 being awarded each spring. A team of educators from both organizations will read the grant proposals and decide who will receive the grants.
